Sgraffito-means to scratch, as in scratching a design into the clay.
Slip trail-means to trail liquid clay over a clay body.
Charger- larger than a dinner plate.
Trencher-a shallow rectangle or square dish.
As with all handmade pottery no two are exactly alike and expect slight imperfections as they only ADD to the charm of a handmade piece.
